Tracy looks at everything from the horse's perspective. How would a horse "want" to live? What would a horse ideally eat? What saddle would they choose? How would they like to interact with people? What condition would they like their hooves in? We can get a lot of these answers can be found by studying the wild horse. She keeps the model of a wild horse in her mind throughout all of her interactions with a horse.

All of Tracy's six horses (four Arabians, two Mustangs) are barefoot. They have gorgeous rock hard feet that take her all over the forest barefoot without missing a stride. She got in to natural hoof care because of distance riding. She looked at hoof boots as a much better shock absorber, hoof protector, and traction device than a steel shoe, and so she pulled her shoes in favor of hoof boots. Now, she rarely uses the hoof boots - her horses NATURAL HOOVES are optimal!
